What I Offer

I can offer you a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and caring space to explore issues thoughts, emotions and feelings that have come about as a result of various life events. While we cannot change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.

As a therapist, I am motivated by the care entrusted to me and I will be alongside you to help you find the source of your problems and build the courage and strength to face these, so you can achieve a healthier, emotional well-being and become more of the person you desire to be.

Because I work integratively, it means I am able to tailor my approach by drawing on different elements of specific therapies, such as person-centred and psychodynamic, and can provide tools for use outside of therapy.  As all people are unique, it will be tailored to suit your personality and preferences.

Who I work with

Adults

I work with adults on an individual 1:1 basis and this can be in person, online, by phone or through Walk & Talk sessions.

Children & Young People (CYP)

Growing up is not always easy, and sometimes young minds need a little extra support. My approach is to be creative, flexible, and always respectful of the child's unique journey.

I work with CYP on an individual 1:1 basis and this can be in person, online (where suitable) or through Walk & Talk sessions. I will use a variety of tools to help express themselves, such as sand trays, art materials, play, games and stones, but this will vary when working together online. I will provide an initial consultation where we can meet and discuss your concerns and choose the best way forward, and thereafter will keep you in the loop through a communication method that works for everyone. Sessions are open-ended, taking place on a session-by-session basis. The aim is to help your child find their own solutions and build the resilience they need for life's challenges.
