Clinical Supervision

As therapists, we are often so focused on supporting others that we forget to seek support for ourselves. That is where supervision comes in. Whether you are a trainee taking your first steps in the field, or an experienced professional looking for a fresh perspective, supervision offers a space for reflection, growth, and continuous learning.

In our supervision sessions, you will have the opportunity to bring cases for in-depth discussion, explore complex ethical dilemmas, discuss any challenges you are facing, examine your therapeutic  relationships, interventions, delve into your own reactions and feelings about your work, and of course celebrate your successes!

In offering the ‘core conditions’ within supervision, I endeavour to provide you with a space where it feels safe to acknowledge the difficulties you may be experiencing in your work, without fear of judgement or reprimand. I also hope to hear about work that you are proud of, as this is equally important. In such an environment, it is my experience that supervisees can celebrate their successes, be open to challenge, and grow both personally and professionally. I do not believe myself to be the ‘expert’ in our relationship, as I find that I learn as much from my supervisees as they may from me. Therefore, I aim to build a collaborative relationship between us.

About me

I am a qualified supervisor, trained in the 7 eyed model of supervision and am well-versed in a variety of therapeutic modalities which allows me to tailor supervision to meet the unique needs of each supervisee. Additionally, I have experience in working with safeguarding issues and supervising those working with children and young people in schools and colleges.

How to get started

If you are interested in exploring supervision together, you are welcome to arrange a free 15 minute consultation. This gives us a chance to meet, ask questions, and see whether we are a good fit to work together.

My fees

I can offer supervision on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis, in person at my garden studio, as well as online or by telephone. Sessions are available from £55 per 1 hour, £80 per 1.5 hours or £100 per 2 hours. Course/supervision reports are £25 each (formative or summative).  I am happy to offer concessionary fees for those in training.

Other professionals

Professionals from other fields, such as nurses, doctors, care workers or corporate leadership, who believe they may benefit from guidance are also warmly invited to participate.
